i just want to let everyone know that eXactLy iNaccurate has been successfully migrated to a new application (Word Press), so all the links and content should be working properly, and now i can finally breathe a sigh of relief thanks to my friends, Kim and Dan. They helped me with the migration, fixing, and finishing touches of the site. i can now start a semi-regular schedule of posting comic strips, Hate/Love List entries, and anything else i get done. My illustration class starts June 9th, so i’m sure i’ll be keeping busy with that. Check for some new stuff this weekend and/or next week.

Wow. Things are in hyper-drive mode for me lately, and it seems it’s that way for everybody. My brother, Mike, just took a road trip and moved to California, cray, my friend, Kristen, might be moving to Maryland, cray-er, my nephew turned 2, i’m in the process of buying an artist studio here, cray cray, i’m starting an illustration/2-d design class in 2 weeks here, yea, and i’m on vacation away from work until June 1st. ::sigh:: in case i get ridiculously busy with all of these things (highly likely) and can’t make an update to the site in a while (highly unlikely because i have some cool stuff getting ready to post), here are some random wallpapers and photomanipulations from a few years ago… “Skeletondanse” was inspired by this song and “Red Rain” was inspired by this song.

Here are 2 pictures of new paintings that i did in the past week or 2. They are a bit Pollock inspired, and i wanted to make a painting for my brother, Mike, when he moves in a few weeks. i kept the green one for myself, since green is my favorite color, and i gave the blue one to Mike to decorate his new place in California.

Here are some pictures of paintings that i’ve been working on for the past few weeks. Sorry i haven’t updated with a new comic strip or anything in a while. i’ve been sick and i’ve been working on these paintings. After many hours, a lot of paint, a whole bunch of geometry and blue tape, they are finally finished. i took individual pictures for each of the 7 paintings, which you can click on to view individually, or you can click on the thumbnail picture of the entire wall in my bedroom to see what they look like hanging together. Yes, i have drawings taped onto my ceiling (with the hopes to induce dreams). Yes, i made Mega Mans out of Perler Beads, one by my bed, and the other by my artist desk. Unfortunately, i ran out of black, and couldn’t make the iconic jumping Mega Man, but oh well. When i get to the store next, i’ll pick up some more black Perler Beads and do it up.

Here are some pictures of Christmas presents that i made for my awesome twin brother, Mike, and my wonderful friend, Peter. The first 2 pictures are of a hand-made (hand-carved and hand/power-drilled oak, hand-sanded, hand-painted (acrylic), protective-spray-gloss-finished) cribbage board that i made (it took me about 25 hours to do) for my brother. i ordered the pegs from Pete’s Pegs and i couldn’t be more happy. My family all loved playing cribbage with the board this past weekend when we visited them, and i’m sure it will be around wherever Mike’s soul tells him to go in his life. The other 4 pictures are some photo-manipulations i did and printed out 4″x6″ copies of and put into individual little basic black frames to give to Peter for part of his Christmas present. i got the idea to manipulate photos of my hands in some way for him because he always tells me how much he likes my hands. i decided to name them, “Why…” (left hand), “…Create?” (left hand), “…Create?” (right hand), and “Why…” (right hand), as some sort of artistic message to the world, or something like that… i don’t really know. i wanted them to be viewed as one whole composition in this specific order, even though i framed them in individual frames.

Here’s an all pencil drawing (8.5″ x 5.5″) that i have made for myself to look at and read every day when i wake up, and every night when i go to sleep. it’s also at my desk at work so that i can look at it and read it there, too.
